Bio

"I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it."

– Pablo Picasso

I’m a Senior Creative Director & Content Strategist specializing in beauty, entertainment, and fashion. With over 15 years of experience, I've led collaborations with top brands like ESPN, REVLON, NFL, HARTBEAT, and EBONY MAGAZINE, where I've crafted visually compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

As a beauty educator on TikTok and Instagram, I develop and share engaging makeup tutorials and DIY beauty tips that empower and inspire. My passion lies in creating culturally relevant content that not only brings brands to life but also leaves a lasting impact across platforms.

NFL NETWORK

The NFL Network created "Ode to South Central" to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of South Central Los Angeles, highlighting the community's history, challenges, and triumphs. As the Art Director and Still Photographer for this project, I crafted an authentic portrayal of the community's vibrant spirit, focusing on unity and celebration. I designed sets that reflected backyard gatherings, capturing the warmth and camaraderie of intergenerational spaces. This project earned three Sports Emmy Awards for Best Long Feature, Best Writing, and Best Editing.

CROOKED MEDIA

I was instrumental in defining the visual aesthetic for the brand’s social media platforms. I conceptualized and executed graphics for campaigns, and bespoke merchandise projects. I spearheaded the design for podcast launches, delivering both animated and static visuals, and managed comprehensive video editing.

My proficiency in mood boarding and campaign pitch development facilitated seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of creative strategies with overarching business objectives. Additionally, I authored content copy and scripts, maintaining a consistent and compelling narrative across all channels

EBONY MAGAZINE

As the Creative Producer and Photographer at Ebony Magazine, I led content production for cover shoots featuring Halle Bailey and Janelle Monáe, managing assets across digital, print, and social media platforms. In this role, I directed pre-production efforts, including art direction, mood boarding, and the creation of creative briefs, ensuring alignment with editorial standards. On set, I handled art direction, set design, lighting, and talent coordination, while also managing logistics, budgets, and schedules. In addition to my photography work, I led cross-functional teams and supervised post-production to deliver polished editorial content. I also produced exclusive editorial shoots, such as the Power 100 gala, overseeing the entire production process from concept to completion.

5 ELEVEN HOOPS

As the Creative Director, I led the transformation of Five Eleven Sports from a single-sport charity into a dynamic, multifaceted organization with a focus on inclusive programs for children and young adults on the autism spectrum. Overseeing a cross-functional team, I directed the development of a cloud-based design system and led the creation of a cohesive visual identity across digital platforms, driving significant increases in community engagement, conversions, and donations. I managed the design and production of sensory-friendly merchandise, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in line with the organization’s mission. Through strategic leadership in rebranding, social media strategy, and creative content production, I positioned Five Eleven Sports as a leader in adaptive and inclusive programming, successfully broadening its reach and impact.
